Dimensions of traumatized social consciousness Data for the theory of wounded collective identity
Tanulmányunkban a Máté-Tóth András által kidolgozott sebzett kollektív identitás Kelet-Közép-Európára vonatkozó régióértelmezési modell tesztelésének eredményeit mutatjuk be, elsősorban a traumákra vonatkozó érzésekre fókuszálva. Első lépésben az elmélet lényegét foglaljuk össze, és meghatározzuk azokat az elemeket, melyek mentén az elmélet tesztelhető. Második lépésben az általunk összeállított modellt elemeztük a TÁRKI által 2020-ban lekérdezett adatok alapján. Eredményeink azt mutatják, hogy a sebzett kollektív identitás elemei szignifikáns összefüggést mutatnak egymással, így validálják az elméleti felvetést.
In our study, we present the results of testing the regional interpretation model of wounded collective identity for East-Central Europe developed by András Máté-Tóth. First, we summarize the essence of the theory and identify the elements along which the theory can be tested, focusing mainly on the emotional aspects. In the second step, we analyze our model on the basis of empirical data retrieved by TÁRKI in 2020. Our results show that the elements of the wounded collective identity are significantly correlated with each other, thus validating the theoretical hypothesis.
